The rules for using the directory, listing a market, and keeping a vendor page.
Texas Markets is free to browse. We publish market days, hours, addresses and vendor lists as they are given to us or as we verify them from the market's own channels. Markets change their hours, cancel for weather and close for the season, so treat a listing as a good starting point and confirm with the market before you drive. Where a listing carries a website, that site is the authority.
You may not scrape the directory in bulk, resell the listings, or use the contact details published here to send unsolicited commercial mail. Reasonable, attributed quotation of a listing is welcome.
Market organisers may claim an existing listing or add a new one. By claiming a listing you confirm you are authorised to speak for that market. You are responsible for keeping the day, hours, season and team contact current, and for having the right to use any logo or photograph you upload. We may correct or remove information that is demonstrably wrong, and we may remove a listing that goes unmaintained.
Vendors control their own page: business name, what they sell, categories, links and the markets they attend. Keep it accurate. Do not list goods you are not permitted to sell, and do not make health, organic or certification claims you cannot support — Texas cottage food, egg, dairy and meat rules apply to you, not to us, and we do not verify compliance on your behalf. Booth positions are not published, because they change from week to week.
We may suspend an account that publishes misleading listings, another business's material, or content that is abusive or unlawful.
What you upload stays yours. By publishing it here you grant Texas Markets a non-exclusive licence to display, resize and cache it on this site and in the weekly market guide, for as long as your listing is live. Delete the listing and that licence ends, save for copies already sent in an email.
The directory is offered as-is. We check listings against the markets' own sources and note when each was last verified, but we cannot guarantee a market will be open, that a vendor will attend, or that a price or product will be available. To the extent the law allows, Texas Markets is not liable for wasted journeys, lost sales, or any indirect loss arising from use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may update these terms; material changes will be dated at the top of this page and announced in the weekly guide. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and the courts of Collin County, Texas have jurisdiction.
